1. Personal Documents
The following personal documents are required for every main applicant. All copies must be certified true copies unless stated otherwise.
Passport & Identity
Copy of passport — all pages, certified true copy
Recent passport-sized photographs
Professional Background
Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
Personal bond form — issued upon approval stage
2. Financial Documents
You must demonstrate that you meet the income and asset requirements for your chosen MM2H tier. The following documents are required as proof of financial standing.
3. Health & Insurance Documents
A clean bill of health and valid insurance coverage are mandatory requirements for all MM2H applicants.
Medical Report
A full medical report obtained from a recognised clinic or hospital. Must be recent and completed by a licensed medical professional.
Medical Insurance
A valid medical insurance policy that covers treatment in Malaysia. Basic coverage is included in the standard agent fee package.
4. Good Conduct & Background
The Malaysian government requires proof of a clean criminal record as part of the MM2H screening process.
Police Clearance Certificate
Must be obtained from your home country or country of current residence. Some applicants may be required to provide certificates from multiple countries.
Letter of Intent
A personal letter explaining your reasons for choosing Malaysia as your second home. This forms part of your formal application submission.
