The program currently features three tiers: Silver (5-year visa, USD 150k deposit), Gold (15-year visa, USD 500k deposit), and Platinum (20-year visa, USD 1M deposit). Each tier has specific requirements regarding property purchase and work permissions.
Eligibility is open to citizens of all countries recognized by Malaysia, aged 25 and above. You must meet the financial fixed deposit requirements and undergo a security background check by the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN).
Yes, you can include your spouse, parents, parents-in-law, and unmarried children under the age of 34 as dependents under your main application, provided they meet the dependency criteria.
Your passport should ideally have at least 24 months of validity remaining at the time of application. For the MM2H pass to be stamped, the Immigration Department requires sufficient empty pages and validity to cover the visa duration or periodic renewals.
After one year, participants may withdraw up to 50% of the fixed deposit for approved expenses within Malaysia, such as purchasing a home, healthcare, or children’s education.

On average, the processing time for government approval is between 60 to 90 working days, depending on the tier applied for and the completeness of the submitted documentation.
For applicants already in Malaysia or entering for medical purposes related to their application, we can facilitate the Medical e-Visa to ensure your entry and stay are legally compliant while processing your residency documents.
Under the 2026 regulations, purchasing a residential property is mandatory for all tiers. The minimum purchase price depends on the tier: RM 600k (Silver), RM 1M (Gold), or RM 2M (Platinum).
